Diwali Fun Craft - Door Decor

Decorate your doors with this fun Diwali craft

Materials required

1. Popsicle sticks
2. Colored cardstock
3. glue
4. markers/crayons/paint/glitter stickers to decorate
5. photo mount squares
6. double sided adhesive squares
7. Craft punch (cirlce and leaf)
8. scissors

1. Glue the popsicle sticks as shown in the picture. We used double sided adhesive squares to glue the sticks. Normal glue would work as well.

2. Using the circle craft punch cut out a circle. Cut the circle into halves to make the diyas.

3. Using the leaf craft punch, cut out two leaves.

4. Now glue one half circle and a leaf together to make the diya. Repeat the same for the second diya as well.

5. Glue the two diyas on the popsicle sticks as shown. Decorate with markers, paint, glitter stickers.

6. Using the photo mount squares glue the popsicle stick on to your door.

7. We followed the same procedure to make the rocket door decor. Draw a rectangle and a triangle and cut it out. Glue them together to make the rocket. Glue them on to the popsicle sticks and decorate.
